What’s going on this week?
Question of the week:
How unexpected encounters reveal hidden dangers?
This week we will be reading an expository nonfiction selection titled “The Hindenburg”. The reading skill we will be focusing on is fact & opinion. We will be working on our second writing prompt for this quarter. The students are writing a biographical sketch of Harriet Tubman. Our Grammar skill this week is quotation marks.
Use Spelling City to help your child practice his/her weekly spelling list. Go to spellingcity.com. I will load our spelling words on here weekly. Students can go to the site and practice the words through interactive games.
